Chemical Plant Operator

Express Employment Professionals is currently interviewing for a full-time Chemical Plant Operator with a local Hot Springs company!

The pay starts out at $18-$22.00/hr

The schedule is a ROTATING SCHEDULE: 5 AM to 1 PM, 1PM to 9PM, 9PM to 5AM. Rotates weekly. The 1PM to 9PM shift will work an additional 8 hour night shift Saturday or Sunday about once every 5 weeks average (more or less).

Room for advancement based on successfully understanding and performing operating processes and completion of various certifications.

Chemical Plant Operator key responsibilities include:

• Must be able to complete OSHA training, and a willingness to learn the basics of pump technology (basic process controls and instrumentation).
• Daily involvement with plant housekeeping, packaging, and sample collection.
• Loading and unloading tankers and material handling duties.
• Provide general plant support for various processes and assist with daily operational tasks.

Chemical Plant Operator qualifications:

• Ability to use controls & instrumentation effectively
• Ability to follow directions well
• Attention to detail
• High school diploma
• Forklift and/or machine operator experience preferred
• Understanding of process flow and distillation beneficial, but not required.
