About the Role:
Join Next-Door K9 Solutions of Massachusetts as a Dog Trainer and make a positive impact on the lives of dogs and their owners. This exciting role allows you to share your passion for canine behavior and training in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct personalized training sessions for dogs of various breeds and temperaments.
Develop and implement effective training programs tailored to individual needs.
Educate pet owners on training techniques and proper dog care.
Monitor progress and adjust training methods as necessary.
Provide ongoing support and resources to dog owners.
Maintain a safe and positive training environment.
Keep detailed records of training sessions and dog behavior.
Participate in community outreach and training workshops.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a dog trainer or in a related field.
Strong understanding of canine behavior and training techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification from a recognized dog training organization is a plus.
Ability to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for dog training.
Willingness to continue education in dog training methods.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
